On June 12, 2023, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to review the last of the appeals filed against the Honorable Judge James L. Garrity, Jr.’s order dated June 18, 2022, confirming the plan of reorganization and financing of LATAM Airlines Group S.A. and various of its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Debtors") in the reorganization proceeding (the "Chapter 11 Proceeding") under the rules of Chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code.

Consistent with the foregoing, on this date, the Honorable Judge James L. Garrity, Jr. has ordered the termination of the Chapter 11 Proceeding and the closing of the Chapter 11 Proceeding case. This resolution corresponds to the last one in the aforementioned process and definitively concludes the Chapter 11 Proceeding.

While it is true that, as reported at the time, the Debtors successfully emerged from the Chapter 11 Proceeding on November 3, 2022, it is customary in these proceedings for the case to remain open beyond that date for the administration of certain pending matters, and in particular the settlement of claims that had not yet been recognized as of that date. This approval is issued as a result of the Debtors having concluded all pending matters after their emergence from the Chapter 11 Proceeding.
